West Indies Struggling against Pakistan

The West Indies, chasing Pakistan’s score of 232 to level the three-match One-Day International series, were struggling at 108 for three after 27 overs in the second match in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.



The batsmen at the crease are Shivnarine Chanderpaul on 52 and Xavier Marshall on 1.



Earlier, captain Chris Gayle and his opening partner Sewnarine Chattergoon departed without scoring, while vice captain Ramnaresh Sarwan scored 45.



Earlier, opening bowlers Daren Powell and Jerome Taylor took three wickets each to restrict Pakistan to 232 off 49 overs.



Taylor took three for 38 and Powell three for 50.



Playing only his second match, Leeward Islands fast bowler Lionel Baker conceded just 35 runs from 10 overs and took the wicket of Kamran Akmal for 45.



Nikita Miller also had a wicket, this for 39 runs.



Misbah-ul-Haq top-scored for Pakistan with 52, while Younis Khan made 34.
