Jamaica prepares for Caribbean championships

Jamaica’s senior footballers will enter a five-day camp beginning today to prepare for the Digicel Caribbean Championship finals.



The finals will be hosted in Jamaica from December 1 to 15.



A number of overseas-based players including veteran utility player Tyrone Marshall, Shavar Thomas, Dane Richards and Omar Cummings of the US Major League have been included in Jamaica’s 29-man squad.



Rudolph Austin, Luton Shelton and Oneil Thompson who all play in Norway join them.



The remaining overseas-based players are Jason Morrison and Rafe Wolfe who ply their trade in Hungary along with Demar Stewart and Wolry Wolfe.



The squad sees the return of 26 year old Keith Kelly, who was last invited to a national squad in August.



Also earning recalls are Sean Fraser, Dwayne Kerr, Steven Morrissey and Utility player O’Brain Woodbine.
