St Lucia PM to wed tomorrow

The Prime Minister of St. Lucia Stephenson King is to marry his long time girlfriend and bank executive Rosella Nestor in Miami Florida tomorrow.



The announcement came yesterday, two days after King’s departure from his personal assistant Egbert Andrew, who said that the wedding would be a private and quiet event.



Since King took office last year, Nestor has been at the Prime Minister’s side for most official functions, with occasional protocol issues arising especially when it came to seating arrangements for official events.



There was no word yesterday on who will attend the wedding from St. Lucia but Andrew said that relatives and close friends had been invited.



The couple is said to have been together for nearly two decades, but will have a very short honeymoon before returning home early next week.
