12-y-o US student shoots up classroom

Two children were injured after a 12-year-old student opened fire at a middle school in the town Roswell in the US State of New Mexico.
Officials say the suspect is in custody and an 11-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl were being treated at a hospital.
The shooting occurred at the Berrendo Middle School as classes started.
A teacher reportedly convinced the student, who allegedly carried the firearm in an instrument case, to surrender the weapon.
