Forecasters predict above average hurricane season

Weather forecasters are predicting that 2009 will see another above average hurricane season.
The long-term average is for ten or eleven tropical storms and six hurricanes.
A team from the Colorado State University, says three of next year\'s hurricanes would be category three or above.
That would mean a potentially deadly trio of storms packing powerful sustained winds of at least 111 miles per hour.
Forecasters say the 2008 season, which ended on November 30, turned out to be one of the most active on record.
There were 16 tropical storms during the season, eight of which became hurricanes.
