Telecommunication firm LIME has donated $4 million to Swim Jamaica to facilitate the expansion of their Inner city Swim Programmes.

LIME’s newly appointed Country Manager for Jamaica Geoff Houston made the announcement at a press conference yesterday at the Pegasus Hotel.

The company’s contribution will help at least 500 children from Inner City schools to participate in SwimJamaica’s programmes at two Corporate Area facilities, the National Stadium Pool and Bournemouth Bath, for a year.

The LIME-sponsored Innercity Swim Programme is scheduled to begin in January 2009.
