Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz and Grenada have earned the right to contest the final of the Digicel Caribbean Championship after recording semi-final victories at the National Stadium last night.

The Jamaicans, searching for their fourth regional senior football title, beat Guadeloupe 2-0 in the second game of the semi-final double-header.

Oneil Thompson and Luton Shelton were on target for the Reggae Boyz.

Earlier, Grenada defeated Cuba 6-5 on penalties after the game ended 2-2 after full and extra time.

Ricky Charles gave Grenada the lead from the penalty spot in the 11th minute.

However, Cuba went 2-1 ahead through Joel Colome 15th minute and Roberto Linares 33rd minute, and 10 minutes from the end Kithson Bain leveled the scores 2-2.

The final is scheduled for Sunday at the National Stadium with the winners collecting US$150,000 and the beaten finalist US$80,000.

This will be the second clash between the teams in the competition as Jamaica hammered Grenada 4-0 in the preliminary round a week ago.
