Grenada wants CCJ as final court of appeal

The Grenada government has made a case for the country to become a full member of the Trinidad-based Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ).
Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Elvin Nimrod, says the time has come for Grenada to handle its own destiny.
He says the Constitutional Reform Commission is considering the CCJ.
The CCJ was established in 2001 to replace the London-based Privy Council as the region’s final court.
