Selassie Gardens in final

Selassie Gardens booked their place in the 2009 National Basketball League when they defeated Jaguars of Montego Bay 71 to 56 at the Montego Bay Cricket Club yesterday.
Arthur Thompson led the way for Selassie Gardens with 18 points. Duran Dean supported him with 14 points.
Jaguars’ Leroy Lawrence had a game high 18 points and was assisted by Huwayne Blake with 12 points.
Morant Bay Stars failed to show for their game against Avalanche.
Three teams are now in the hunt for the final spot. They are Jaguars and Avalanche of Montego Bay and Braves of Kingston.
