Barbados Government to review solid waste tax

The Barbados government says it is willing to review the controversial Municipal Solid Waste Tax if it is causing undue hardship on Barbadians.



Former Prime Minister Owen Arthur and members of his constituency have threatened to protest against the tax, claiming that they are unable to pay.



The solid waste tax, which is expected to raise money to help with the management of garbage has been met with contempt among Barbadians.
