Brian Breeze resigns from JCA

The Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) has dismissed reports that Cricket Operations Officer Brian Breese was forced to resign.

Breese’s resignation came two months after Paul Campbell defeated Courtney Walsh for the presidency of the JCA.

Breese, who has worked with the JCA for 18 years under the leadership of Jackie Hendricks, says he resigned because he was not enjoying the work anymore.

However, Campbell says he is not aware of any rift between Breese and the new board.

Breese’s resignation takes effect on March 23, but Campbell says the JCA will severe ties with him in two weeks in order to appoint an acting Cricket Operations Officer.
