Miami Heat beat Cavs
Dwayne Wade had 21 points and 12 assists and Mario Chalmers added 21 to lead the Miami Heat to a 104 to 95 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA last night.
For Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James, who turned 24 yesterday, scored a fitting 24 of his 38 points in the second half, almost enough to rally his team out of their biggest deficit of the season, a 16-point hole at halftime.
But the Heat put it away with a 16 to 3 run over a four-minute stretch of the final quarter, handing the Cavs just their fifth loss in 31 games this season.
At Indianapolis, Joe Johnson scored 12 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter to help Atlanta Hawks beat Indiana Pacers 110 to 104.
At Charlotte, Wilson Chandler scored seven of his 19 points in the final four minutes and New York Knicks beat Charlotte Bobcats 93 to 89.
In other games, New Orleans Hornets beat Washington Wizards 97 to 85; Milwaukee Bucks had a 100 to 98 victory over San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Mavericks beat Minnesota Timberwolves 107 to 100.
