The Grenada government says although the global financial crisis has made its presence felt on the island, it hasn\'t to date had much of an impact on the island.
Prime Minister Tillman Thomas says the tourism sector appears to be holding its own.
He says the global financial downturn may affect the country to a lesser extent than it does some of Grenada\'s neighbours in the region.
According to Mr Thomas, the island and its people are coping, and his administration wants to focus more on agriculture.
