Murray beats Federer

Andy Murray continued his dominance over Roger Federer today, beating the 13-time Grand Slam title winner 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 in the semi-finals of the Capitala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.



The fourth-ranked Murray improved to 5-2 over Federer after having lost their previous match, the US Open final.



Murray will play top-ranked Rafael Nadal for the winner-take-all prize of US$250,000.



The Spaniard defeated Nikolay Davydenko of Russia 6-2, 6-3 in the other semi-final.
