Jamaica’s national Under-20 footballers departed for St Vincent and the Grenadines to contest the final stage of the Caribbean qualifying for the CONCACAF Under-20 championship.

The young Reggae Boyz will open their campaign on Friday against Haiti in the first match of a double-header beginning at 6 o’clock. St Vincent and the Grenadines will go up against the Dominican Republic at 8 o’clock.

Jamaica will play their second game against the Dominican Republic on Sunday and take on St Vincent and the Grenadines in their final game on Tuesday, January 13.

Jamaica are in pursuit of a berth in their second Under-20 World Cup finals having qualified in 2001.

To keep their chances of achieving that feat, Jamaica must top the group. If they do, they advance to the eight-team CONCACAF round of qualifiers, which takes place in Trinidad and Tobago from March 6 to 15.
