Bermudans without power following passage of tropical storm

Up to late yesterday, more than 8,000 residents in Bermuda were without electricity as the country continues to count the cost of Tropical Storm Fay.
The weather system battered the island over the weekend.
Premier Michael Dunkley said there were no deaths but 10 minor injuries were reported.
The tropical storm reportedly dislodged containers, downed trees and power lines all over the island, and flooded roads.
At the L.F. Wade International Airport some flights were cancelled leaving travellers stranded after the storm tore into the terminal roof, causing extensive flooding and damaging radar equipment.
