Prime Minister Stephenson King has announced that he will outline his government’s plans to stabilise the St Lucian economy in an address to the nation later this month.
King, who is also Finance Minister, said his government is working on a package of proposals to stimulate the economy.
However, he cautions that there will be no bailout to any sector.
He said he would disclose what action his administration will take after attending a joint meeting of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States Authority and the Council of the Eastern Caribbean Central Banks in St Kitts later this week.
