Jamaica will aim to go a step closer to qualify for the 2009 FIFA Under-20 World Cup when they face hosts St. Vincent and the Grenadines in their final game of the Caribbean Football Union Under 20 finals this evening.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. Jamaica time.

The Jamaicans face a must-win situation to guarantee themselves automatic qualification to the eight-nation CONCACAF play-offs in Trinidad and Tobago from March 6 to 15.

Four teams will qualify from the CONCACAF Under-20 playoffs to the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Egypt from September 25 to October 16.

The runners-up from the CFU finals will have a second opportunity to make the eight-team CONCACAF Under 20 finals, as they will play-off against Honduras to get the last spot in the play-off.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines lead the four-team playoff with maximum six points, two ahead of Jamaica.

In the other match this evening, Haiti will play the Dominican Republic.
