Barbados air traffic controllers return to work

Air Traffic Controllers at the Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados who walked off the job have returned to work.



The air traffic controllers went on strike yesterday today to protest against poor working conditions.



However, after a meeting involving the National Union of Public Workers and the airport’s management they returned to their post.



The strike affected several flights in and out of the Grantley Adams International Airport but the airport remained open as the management manned the control tower.
