Jamaica to face Nigeria
Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz and Nigeria are scheduled to face off on in a friendly international on February 11 in London.
Nigeria Football Federation board member Taiwo Ogunjobi confirmed the meeting in an article published on allafrica.com website yesterday.
Ogunjobi said the deal was sealed with Jamaica after the Black Stars of Ghana pulled out of talks to meet them on the FIFA date.
Ogunjobi further said the Super Eagles head coach Shaibu Amodu is expected to list his players for the friendly by next week.
President of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) Captain Horace Burrell, said discussions are still taking place.
Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz are now ranked at 66th in the world after dipping one place on the latest FIFA list released yesterday.
The Nigerians are ranked at 17th in the world.
