Jamaica secure first innings points.

Champions Jamaica have won the crucial first innings points against hosts Trinidad and Tobago on today’s final day of their rain-marred second round Regional four-day match at Queen’s Park Oval.



The Jamaicans replying to T&T’s first innings score of 202 for nine declared, reached 298 for six at Sports Time with David Bernard undefeated on 68.



Brenton Parchment scored 54, Wavell Hinds 52 and Donovan Pagon 41 against the bowling of Richard Kelly three for 54.



Jamaica resumed this morning on 148 for five, 55 runs from first innings points.



Over at Progress Park in Grenada, Windward Islands, trailing Barbados by 203 runs on first innings, reached 126 for seven at Sports Time in their second innings at lunch.



Barbados 395 for eight declared; Windward Islands 192 and 126 for seven.



Over at the Three Ws Oval in Barbados, Guyana, set 319 to beat Combined Campuses and Colleges, reached 154 for six at Sports Time.



Combined Campuses and Colleges 265 and 300 for five declared, Guyana 247 and 154 for six.
