Dominica cease issuing visas to Haitians

The Dominican government has announced a stay on visas for Haitians entering the country as it seeks to tighten its immigration policy.
National Security and Immigration Minister Rayburn Blackmoore says the move is not a ban.
Blackmore says the new policy, which came into effect this month, is aimed at addressing challenges within the immigration system.
