Caricom, Spain reach fund deal

CARICOM and Spain have agreed to establish a joint fund for financing approved projects.
This decision was made at a meeting involving delegations from Spain and the CARICOM Secretariat in Georgetown.
The two sides said they noted the current visit to Haiti by Queen Sofia of Spain to follow up on social programmes for which Spain was providing assistance to Haiti.
