Jamaican international striker Marlon King has left Hull City; just days after a clash with manager Phil Brown saw him axed from the Premiership squad.

King, who has been on loan at Hull City from Wigan since last August, will join Middlesbrough until the end of the season.

It was reported that King clashed with Brown after apparently becoming upset over being left out of the starting eleven for Hull’s clash with Arsenal last Saturday at the KC Stadium.

King scored five goals for the Hull City in the English Premiership this season but has gone six games without a goal as the club slipped down the table after five straight losses in the league.
