Eight West Indies players for IPL

Eight West Indies players will be considered for the second auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL).



The West Indies players are Sylvester Joseph, Darren Sammy, Andre Fletcher, Kieron Pollard, Kieran Powell, Fidel Edwards, Dwayne Smith and Kemar Roach.



The Caribbean cricketers are among 112 overseas players who will be on auction.



Each franchise has a maximum of US$2 million to spend on their overseas signings in the auction.



The auction is set to take place in Goa, India on February 6 ahead of the 20/20 tournament, which runs from April 10 to May 29.
