CARICOM setup crisis committee

CARICOM finance and economy ministers have set up a taskforce to prepare a coordinated response to the international financial crisis.



The taskforce was set up after a meeting in Barbados of the Council for Finance and Planning.



The crisis committee, which will comprise representatives of regional institutions, has been mandated to submit a report in March.
