Lamar Odom scored a season-high 28 points and Kobe Bryant added 19 as Los Angeles Lakers handed the Cleveland Cavalier their first loss at home this season with a 101 to 91 victory in the NBA yesterday.



The Cavaliers came in 23-0 at Quicken Loans Arena, but were stopped by the Lakers, which ended Boston’s 19-game winning streak on Christmas Day and halted a 12-game run by the Celtics earlier this week.



At Boston, Roger Mason pulled up and leaned into a 3-pointer with 20 point 4 seconds left, and Tim Duncan scored 23 points with 13 rebounds to lead San Antonio Spurs to a 105-99 victory over Boston Celtics.



In other games, Portland Trail Blazers beat New York Knicks 109-108; Orlando Magic defeated New Jersey Nets 101-84; Miami Heat got by Charlotte Bobcats 96 to 92 and Washington Wizards beat Indiana Pacers 119 to 117.
