Stoke City receive good news on Fuller
Stoke City have been boosted by news that Reggae Boy Ricardo Fuller was expected to return to action sooner than expected, allaying initial fears he would have been ruled out for the remainder of the English Premiership season.
Fuller suffered a dislocated shoulder in Stoke’s 2-0 loss to Sunderland on Saturday and was forced to undergo an operation to rectify the injury.
Stoke City manager Tony Pulis said the Fuller, 24, will only sit out six weeks.
It means Fuller could be back in time for the last six weeks of the Potters’ campaign, at a crucial time when they will be trying to ensure their survival in the country’s top flight.
Currently, Stoke are a single point above the drop zone after winning just one of their last 10 Premiership matches.
