Papine defeat Jamaica College
Papine High defeated Jamaica College 1-0 in their final Boys’ Zone ‘B’ match in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-19 competition at the Mona field yesterday.
As a result of the victory, Papine have moved to second place on five points, two behind zone leaders Wolmer’s on seven.
The top two are followed by Kingston College and Jamaica College on three points each.
Over in Zone ‘A’ of the boys’ section, Excelsior and Campion played to a goalless draw.
In the day’s other game, Immaculate and Campion battled to a goalless draw in their Girls’ Zone ‘B’ match.
The competition continues this afternoon with Papine against Alpha at 1.30, Kingston College versus Mona at 2.30 p.m. and St Andrew playing Excelsior at 3.30 p.m.
