Jamaica/Guyana draw
The sixth-round regional four-day match between defending champions Jamaica and hosts Guyana ended in a draw today at the National Stadium.
Set 272 to win, Guyana reached 159 for four in their second innings when the game was called off with Narsingh Deonarine undefeated on 51.
Jamaica won the crucial first innings points very early this morning after dismissing Guyana for 302.
Guyana had resumed this morning on 301 for nine replying to Jamaica’s 441 for eight declared and only put on another one run.
Jamaica, with a lead of 139, were struggling on 132 for eight before declaring.
Final scores in the game:- Jamaica 441 for eight declared and 132 for eight; Guyana 302 and 159 for four.
At the UWI’s Sir Frank Worrell Ground, hosts Trinidad and Tobago drew with Leeward Islands in their rain-hit game.
Set 230 to win off 37 overs, Leeward Islands reached 36 without loss before the match was call off.

Following the sixth round of matches, Barbados have moved ahead in the standings with 51 points, three ahead of long-time leader Jamaica on 48.
The top two are followed by Windward Islands on 36, T&T on 33, Leeward Islands on 19, Combined Campuses and Colleges on 15 and Guyana at the bottom with seven.
