West Indies, replying to England’s first innings total of 566 for nine declared, were 154 for three at Sports Time on the third day of the third Test at the Antigua Recreation Ground.

The Caribbean side, which resumed this morning on 55 for one, lost opener Devon Smith for 38 and night watchman Daren Powell for 22, in the final hour before the lunch break.

Both wickets went to off-spinner Graeme Swann.

Smith fell in the first over after drinks, when he hit at a flighted ball and was bowled.

Powell was caught at slip playing defensively forward in the last 15 minutes before lunch.

The batsmen at the crease are Ramnaresh Sarwan on 27 and Ryan Hinds on 10.

West Indies lead the five Tests series 1-0, following an innings and 23-run victory in the opening Test at Sabina Park inside four days.

The other two tests in the series take place at Kensington Oval in Barbados from February 26 to March 2, and Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad from March 6 to 10.
