Village United defeat Arnett Gardens

Village United of Trelawny defeated Arnett Gardens 2-1 in the feature game as the Flow Champions Cup, the country’s premier football knockout competition, got off yesterday.
The match was played at Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex in Kingston.
Westmoreland’s Reno edged Major League team Rae Town 2-1, while Jackie Bell finalists Meadhaven defeated New Green of Manchester 1-0 at Brooks Park.
Central Football Club of Hanover beat Frome 2-1 at Rusea’s High School in Hanover and St Elizabeth’s Holland Police Youth Club defeated Prospect of St Thomas 2-1 at the Lacovia Community Centre.
Round One of the competition continues this afternoon at 3.00 p.m. with five games.
