Windward Islands batting

Windward Islands, sent in to bat by Jamaica, reached 121 for two at lunch on the opening day of their seventh-round Regional Four-day match at Windsor Park Stadium in Dominica.



Spinner Odean Brown picked up both wickets for Jamaica.



Keddy Lesporis has so far top scored for Windward Islands with 50. Johnson Charles scored 26 and Andre Fletcher is undefeated on 25.



The other two seventh-round matches will bowl off tomorrow.



The games are Combined Campuses and Colleges against Leeward Islands at Three Ws Oval in Barbados, and Guyana hosting Trinidad and Tobago at the Providence Stadium.



Barbados lead the standings with 51 points, three ahead of defending champions Jamaica on 48. The top two are followed by Windward Islands on 36, T&T on 33, Leeward Islands on 19, Combined Campuses and Colleges on 15 and Guyana at the bottom of the table on seven.
