West Indies fight back

West Indies, chasing 503 for victory, were 196 for three at Sports Time in their second innings against England on the fifth and final day of the third Test at Antigua Recreation Ground.



Ramnaresh Sarwan, who hit his second half-century of the match, is 73 not out, with Shivnarine Chanderpaul on 40.



The West Indies resumed this morning on 143 for three after the dismissal of Devon Smith for 21, Chris Gayle for 46 and Ryan Hinds for six yesterday.



The start of the morning session was delayed by 75 minutes.



West Indies lead the five Tests series 1-0, following an innings and 23-run victory in the opening Test at Sabina Park inside four days.



Scores in the game so far, England 566 for nine declared and 221 for eight declared, West Indies 285 and 196 for three.
