Campion win A League title

Campion College won their first Under-19 cricket title in 20 years when they took first innings points from Calabar High in the two-day final of the urban area ISSA First Global Bank ‘A’ League which ended in a draw.



The match was played at Melbourne Oval.



Campion, chasing Calabar’s first innings total of 194, and starting the day on 123 for three were bowled out for 196 for a two-run lead.



Calabar batting a second time were dismissed for 117, setting Campion a target of 115.
