Jamaica versus Windward Islands

Defending champions Jamaica, responding to the Windward Islands’ 261, were 69 for one at Sports Time on today’s second day of their seventh-round Regional Four-day match at Windsor Park Stadium in Dominica.



Axed West Indies batsman Xavier Marshall, who resumed this morning on 12 with Jamaica on 15 without loss, was dismissed for 27.



The batsmen at the crease are Brenton Parchment on 24 and Donovan Pagon 11 not out.



The other two matches bowled off today.



The Leeward Islands, sent to bat by Combined Campuses and Colleges, reached 75 for one at lunch on the opening day of their seventh-round match.



At the Guyana National Stadium, Trinidad and Tobago, sent to bat by Guyana are 77 for one.



Barbados lead the standings with 51 points, three ahead of Jamaica on 48.
