Badminton championship receives over 200 entries

Over 200 entries have been received for the two-day Tournament of Kings badminton championship, which serves off tomorrow at the Constant Spring Golf Club’s Racquet Complex.



The tournament is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.



Defending male open champion, Gareth Henry is favoured to retain his title despite stiff opposition expected from Kashif Bernard.



Gareth’s sister Geordine, the current Open female champion, will receive strong competition from Olympian Nigella Saunders, who was absent last year.
