England, President’s Eleven draw
Ian Bell and Alastair Cook scored half centuries as England drew their two-day warm-up game with the Barbados Cricket Association President’s Eleven at Windward Sports Club in Barbados today.
England are preparing for the fourth Test against West Indies, which bowls off on Thursday in Barbados.
Bell hit 72 and Cook got 52 in England’s second innings total of 142 for two.
Earlier, the President’s Eleven side, resuming on 49 for four replying to England’s first innings score of 351 for eight declared, were bowled out for 245.
Shamarh Brooks top scored for the President’s Eleven with 69. Kevin Stoute with 56 and Jason Holder with 50 supported him.
Amjad Khan was the top bowler for England with five for 79.
