The Leeward Islands beat Combined Campuses and Colleges by 111 runs on today’s last day of their seventh-round regional four-day match at the Three Ws Oval in Barbados.
Set 328 runs to win, Combined Campuses and Colleges were bowled out for 216, midway the last session.
Floyd Reifer scored 101 for Combined Campuses and Colleges against the bowling of Gavin Tonge four for 56 and Lion Baker two for 34.
Final scores in the game: Leeward Islands 275 and 242 for seven declared, Combined Campuses and Colleges 190 and 216.
In the other match, Guyana drew with Trinidad and Tobago at the National Stadium in Guyana.
Final scores in that match: T&T 530 for eight declared and 178 for eight declared, Guyana 402 and 133 for four.
Jamaica, which defeated Windward Islands yesterday, lead the standings with 60 points, nine ahead of Barbados, which were idle in this round.
