The Jamaica Netball Association (JNA) has axed Janet Guy as coach of the National Under 21 team, which is preparing for the World Youth Championships in Cook Islands this summer.

Guy’s dismissal came five month before the tournament begins.

JNA president Marva Bernard said C. Lloyd Walker would take charge of the team.

Bernard said the association has made the right decision to sack Guy although she has been with the team since 2006.

Five members of the Under 21 are now in England with the senior team for a three-Test series against the host country.
