Jamaica takes charge

Leaders Jamaica have taken charge against Leeward Islands on the opening day of their eighth-round West Indies Cricket Board’s Regional Four-Day match at Sabina Park.
The visitors asked to take first strike reached 75 for five at the lunch break. At one stage, the Leewards were struggling on 29 for five.
David Bernard Junior and Andrew Richardson have so far taken two wickets each.
Over at Guaracara Park, hosts Trinidad and Tobago, electing to bat against Barbados, were 72 for two at lunch.
At the National Stadium in Guyana, the Windward Islands, electing to bat against Guyana, reached 102 for two at the lunch interval.
