Undefeated Jamaican super featherweight boxer Nicholas Walters has a new opponent for his bout tomorrow night at Hotel Melia Panama Canal.

Panama-based Walters has now been elevated to the main event to face Nicaraguan Jose Fonseca over eight rounds.

Fonseca, currently based in Costa Rica, was originally scheduled to face Irving Berry, but the Panamanian Berry has suffered an injury and was forced to pull out of the contest and Walters replaces him.

Walters, who boasts a 100 per cent win record of eight nil with six knockouts, will be involved in his first eight-round contest.

Fonseca has a ring record of two wins against five losses and three draws.
