New Zealand beat India by six wickets

Brendon McCallum scored an unbeaten 69 and scored the winning run from the final ball as hosts New Zealand beat India by five wickets today to win their two-match Twenty/Twenty series two nil.



India were put in and scored a modest 149 for six with Yuvraj Singh top scoring with 50. Virender Sehwag supported with 24 from 11 balls.



Iain Obrien and Ian Butler ended with two wickets each for New Zealand.



Needing 150 for victory, New Zealand reached the target off the final ball after entering the last over needing 12 runs with five wickets in hand.



Bowling for India, Irfan Pathan had two for 41, while there was a wicket each for Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh.



The teams meet again in a five-match one-day series beginning next week.



The one-day series will be followed by three Tests.
