Papine beat Excelsior

Papine High scored a 3-2 penalty stroke victory over Excelsior yesterday to win the girls’ final of the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/ Jamaica Hockey Federation Under-19 competition.
The match was played at the Mona Hockey field. The teams had battled to a goalless draw after regulation and extra time.
Earlier, St. Andrew High beat Alpha 1-nil in the playoff for third place.
The boys’ final between Munro and Papine High will take place this afternoon, beginning at 3.30.
Jamaica College and Tivoli High will meet at 2.30 in the third place playoff.
