West Indies women hunt Super Six spot

West Indies will continue their hunt for a place in the Super Six phase of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s World Cup tonight Jamaica time when they face hosts Australia in their final preliminary match in Group ‘A’.
The match will take place at Bankstown Oval.
West Indies need to maintain a top-three position in the Group to get into the Super Six phase.
New Zealand, who defeated West Indies yesterday, head the group with maximum four points. They are through to the Super Six.
Australia, the defending champions, are joint second on two points with West Indies but boast a superior net run-rate.
In a Group ‘B’ game yesterday, England easily defeated India by nine wickets at North Sydney Oval.
