The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has named Denesh Ramdin to captain West Indies in the Digicel 20/20 International against England at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad on Sunday.
Ramdin steps up from vice-captaincy to lead the side in the absence of injured captain Chris Gayle.
He will be in charge of a squad that includes four changes from the 13-man unit for the last Test in Trinidad.
The changes are Gayle, Ryan Hinds, Brendan Nash and Daren Powell making way for Andre Fletcher, Dwayne Bravo, Keiron Pollard, and Darren Sammy.
