Jamaica still in control
Tournament leaders Jamaica are closing in on victory against hosts Barbados on today’s final day of their 10th round match in the West Indies Cricket Board regional four-day competition at Kensington Oval.
At Sports Time, Barbados were 257 for seven in their second innings chasing a victory target of 515 after resuming this morning on 107 for two.
Dale Richards, who resumed this morning on 45, scored 117.
Dave Bernard Junior and Nikita Miller have so far taken two wickets each for Jamaica.
Over at Arnos Vale in St Vincent, the Windward Islands, set 301 runs to win, were struggling on 124 for eight at Sports Time against Combined Campuses and Colleges.
Over at the Albion Sports Complex, hosts Guyana reached 336 for nine against the Leeward Islands at lunch in their rain-affected match.
The first two days of the game were abandoned because rain left the outfield waterlogged.
