Paul Collingwood has been chosen to lead England ahead of Kevin Pietersen if captain Andrew Strauss is not fit for the upcoming one-day series against the West Indies.
Strauss succeeded Pietersen as skipper in the wake of the much-publicised rift with former coach Peter Moores.
The first of a five-match ODI series, which starts on Friday, sees Strauss struggling to overcome a hamstring problem.
Strauss picked up the injury during Sunday\'s Twenty/Twenty defeat in Trinidad, although a scan has showed that the injury is not as bad as was first feared.
