French citizens to stage protest

French citizens are planning to stage a massive protest to urge the government to do more to save jobs and wages.



The citizens are insisting that the 2.4 billion euros offered by the government earlier this year is not enough.



According to the BBC, President Nicolas Sarkozy said nothing more can be done.



Unemployment is projected to increase by 10 percent with a further 350,000 lay offs by the end of this year.
