Waterford hammer Village United

Defending champions Waterford hammered Village United 6-0 last night to book their place in the semi-final of the island’s premier knockout football competition, the Flow Champions Cup.



The game was played at the Waterhouse Mini Stadium.



Waterhouse will travel to Edward Seaga Sports Complex to play Tivoli Gardens in the semi-final.



Tivoli Gardens also booked their place last night following a 1-0 victory over Reno at Edward Seaga Sports Complex.



The other semi-final will feature Rivoli United against Boys’ Town at Prison Oval in Spanish Town.



Rivoli cemented their place following a 4-0 whipping of hosts Duhaney Park at Baldwin Crescent, while Boys’ Town defeated four-time winners Harbour View 2-0 at Harbour View Mini Stadium to advance.



Those games were also played yesterday.
